In the basic education modules, you can improve your basic language skills in reading, writing, speaking and working on a computer. Each module focuses on a specific area. The modules are the ideal complement to the German courses in the morning.
Each module takes place once a week from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. A module comprises 30 lessons. The course fees depend on your place of residence and household income. We will be happy to advise you.
The following modules are offered:
Pronunciation training (all levels, every Monday)
Various exercise techniques (texts, songs, dialogues) will guide you towards correct and clear pronunciation.
German and job hunting (A1-B2, every Tuesday)
You will practise application techniques and acquire vocabulary for job interviews and letters of application. You will create a CV, work on job advertisements and write applications.
Reading and writing (A1-A2, every Wednesday)
You will practise your reading and writing skills in a targeted manner. You will read short texts and recognise information relevant to everyday life. You will fill out forms and write short texts.
Writing workshop (B1-B2, every Wednesday)
You will improve your writing skills for everyday work. You will write letters, work reports or emails in specific situations.
Conversation (end of A2-B2, every Thursday)
You will practise your speaking skills in conversations about socially relevant topics and develop the necessary vocabulary. You will learn to contribute your own point of view and arguments and expand your communication skills.
Digital skills for beginners (A1.1-B1, every Friday)
You will acquire basic knowledge relevant to everyday life and work in connection with ICT (digital devices, email, internet, etc.), learn the relevant vocabulary and also acquire the basic technical skills required for computer-assisted German lessons.
