ECAP has always supported people forced to leave their homes due to war, violence, or persecution. For years, refugees from various war and crisis regions around the world – from the well-known to the nearly forgotten – have participated in our courses. Regardless of their origin, we help them integrate quickly into society and the workforce. We provide the necessary skills – whether local language proficiency or professional qualifications – so they can live freely and independently here. By helping them acquire skills that facilitate communication between people of different languages and cultures, we promote a culture of peace, solidarity, and social coexistence.
The current emergency in Ukraine has drawn the attention of many institutions, associations, and individuals to refugee integration. Many come to us with questions: How and where can refugees learn the local language? Which courses are available to them? Under what conditions? We believe that learning the national language and quickly integrating into Swiss society and the labor market works best when refugees participate together in professionally organized courses tailored to their individual language and educational skills.
On this page, you will find an overview of all educational offers, also accessible to persons with S-permit status, along with information on the conditions of participation in the various cantons. We will continuously update and expand this information.
If needed, ECAP supports municipalities, cantons, associations, and aid organizations in organizing additional courses at various locations.
