Examinations and language certificates
You have better chances in the professional world and the prospect of further education and training if you can prove your language skills.
ECAP offers the following examinations and certificates in the area of languages:
telc
telc certifies the German skills at different levels. telc means «The European Language Certificates» and includes language examinations based on the international criteria of the ALTE (The Association of Language Testers in Europe): fair, transparent and reliable. ECAP and telc have been working together for a long time.
fide test
Most of the regional ECAP centres are accredited for the for the fide test and issue it for levels A1 to B1. fide was initiated by the Secretariat for Migration (SEM) and is recognised throughout Switzerland. Once you have obtained your fide test, you will receive a language passport, which you can use at the authorities for vocational training or job-seeking purposes.
CELI
CELI certifies the Italian skills at different levels. CELI means «Certificate of knowledge of the Italian language» and includes language examinations based on the international criteria of the ALTE (The Association of Language Testers in Europe): fair, transparent and reliable.
ECAP and the CELI exam center of CVCL (Center for the Assessment of Linguistic Certifications of the University for Foreigners of Perugia) have been working together for a long time.
