Exams and certificates

Recognised certificates boost your future prospects. At ECAP, you can obtain official recognition of your language and professional skills.

Our certificates

telc are internationally recognised language certificates in German, French and English at all levels (A1–C2). The exams are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and assess reading, listening, writing and speaking. telc certificates are recognised worldwide and are used for professional purposes, higher education and integration.

fide is a nationally recognised language qualification for German, French and Italian (A1–B1). The test is specifically designed to assess everyday situations in Switzerland (e.g. work, doctor’s appointments, dealing with the authorities) and consists of an oral and a written section. The results are recorded in the ‘language passport’ and are important for residence permits and naturalisation.

ICDL is an internationally recognised certificate in digital skills. It certifies basic to advanced skills in using computers, the internet and Office applications (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets). The modules can be taken individually (Base, Standard, Advanced).

This is an internationally recognised certificate of proficiency in Italian (A1–C2), issued by the University for Foreigners in Perugia. It assesses all language skills and is used for study, work and personal development.

Sveb 1 is a swiss basic qualification for course leaders in adult education. It confirms the ability to plan, deliver and evaluate learning activities with adults, and is a recognised entry point into the field of continuing education.

A certificate in intercultural interpreting in the social, educational and healthcare sectors. It qualifies holders to work as interpreters between professionals and foreign-language speakers and ensures professional standards are met.

Qualification in the planning, delivery and evaluation of second-language teaching in accordance with the fide principles. The focus is on practical language support for everyday life and integration.

In addition, our vocational training programmes prepare students for federal qualifications (EFZ/EBA in accordance with Article 32 of the Vocational Training Ordinance).
