ECAP Solothurn is one of ECAP’s oldest regional offices and has been committed to education, integration and equal opportunities since the 1970s. As a reliable partner for migrants and for institutions, we are dedicated to social and professional integration. Our practical programmes are aimed primarily at adults; they are based on up-to-date teaching approaches and tailored to the specific life experiences of our participants. We combine our many years of experience with qualified course leaders and a commitment to continuous quality improvement. This results in effective educational programmes such as language courses, basic skills development and courses geared towards the labour market. We place great emphasis on practical learning and individual support. We play an important role in breaking down social and financial barriers and enable even those who are disadvantaged or unaccustomed to formal education to access further education.

Other courses

Literacy

The literacy courses run by ECAP Solothurn are aimed at non-native speakers who are unable to read and write at all, or can do so only with great difficulty, or who are unfamiliar with the Latin alphabet.

Intensive German

The intensive courses (A1–B1) at ECAP Solothurn are ideal for people who want to learn German quickly and effectively – for everyday life, work or further education.

Extensive German

Our extensive German courses in Solothurn and Olten are aimed at people who attend lessons once a week and wish to consolidate their learning independently.

German in the municipalities

Our German courses, run on behalf of various local authorities in the canton of Solothurn, are aimed at parents with young children who wish to improve their German language skills in a targeted way.

Exams and certificates

ECAP Solothurn is accredited to run the fide test and offers it in German, the national language, at levels A1 to B1 (CEFR).

Vocational training

ECAP Solothurn’s CNC courses provide you with practical training in the skills you need to operate and programme standard industrial CNC machines confidently and independently.

Labour market measures

Stabe-Stebe courses are designed to help jobseekers identify their career path and prepare for job applications.

ECAP Solothurn represents continuity and commitment: since its foundation, the organisation has been dedicated to promoting open access to education and the integration of a wide variety of population groups.
