The course content is developed according to all areas of operational competence required by the new reform:
• General education
• Creating and organizing customer relationships
• Management and presentation of products and services
• Second national language (German)
Goals
The course, completely redesigned and adapted to the new "Sales 22+" reform, will allow participants to acquire all the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the required exams and thus work in the retail sector as qualified personnel.
Costs
The course registration fee is CHF 2,600, payable in installments, and payments to ECAP Ticino UNIA are to be made on a quarterly basis. Any exemptions from exams in individual subjects do not entitle the participant to an adjustment of the registration fee. The exam registration fee (CHF 100) must be paid to the Division of Vocational Training (DFP) before registering for the exam.

Members of a trade union can request a refund of the costs incurred for the training.

Adults working in the retail sector who do not hold the Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) as a "Retail Trade Specialist".

Must be of legal age and have lived or worked in Switzerland for at least 1 year before the start of the course.

Must be able to certify 5 years of general professional experience, including 3 years in the retail sector.

Theoretical lessons with individual and group exercises, practical simulation lessons, and individual study and exercises. The training is designed for adult participants and takes into account the professional knowledge and skills acquired during their professional lives.

By attending 80% of the classroom hours, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

By passing the federal exams scheduled for June 2028, participants will obtain the Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) as a "Retail Trade Specialist".

During the course and in preparation for the exams, approximately 150 hours of individual study should be expected. In addition, the preparation of a written assignment to be completed individually at home is required.
