Contents
Expansion of vocabulary essential for working in service and the kitchen: menu, drinks list, preparation, dishes, cutlery, etc.

Practicing dialogue forms that facilitate team communication and friendly interaction with guests (greetings and farewells, orders, payment, responding to questions, praise, and complaints)
Goals
You work in service or in the kitchen and learn to communicate better and more confidently with guests and colleagues.

You will learn important terms for your industry and better understand work instructions.
Procedure
All new participants will be invited to a placement appointment before the start of the course. Placements will take place on the following dates:

Monday, August 16, 2027: 8:00–9:00 AM or 3:00–4:00 PM
Tuesday, August 17, 2027: 8:00–9:00 AM or 3:00–4:00 PM
Wednesday, August 18, 2027: 8:00–9:00 AM or 3:00–4:00 PM
Thursday, August 19, 2027: 8:00–9:00 AM or 3:00–4:00 PM

The course days will be set after the placement interviews.

The German course is particularly suitable for individuals preparing linguistically for a Progresso course.

With regular course attendance (at least 80%), you will receive a course certificate.

Withdrawal is free of charge up to 7 calendar days before the course starts. If you cancel after the free cancellation period has expired and before the programme begins, an administrative fee of CHF 80 will be charged. Cancellation must be made in writing.

If you withdraw by the seventh calendar day after the programme starts, an administrative fee of CHF 80 must be paid. If you withdraw from the course later, the full course costs must be paid. If the reasons for withdrawal are attributable to ECAP, participants will not incur any costs.
