German language courses of the City of Zurich

The courses take place twice a week and are suitable for people who learn at a slow, medium or fast pace. This means you can find a learning pace that suits you. In the lessons, you’ll practise speaking, listening, reading and writing. You’ll expand your vocabulary, improve your grammar and gain more confidence in everyday life in Zurich.

Duration: 95 lessons per Semester. Childcare for pre-school children is provided during lessons.

The courses are subsidised by the City of Zurich. If you have a KulturLegi and live in the City of Zurich, you may, under certain conditions, be eligible for a refund of the course fees and childcare costs.
