AVANTI! in Winterthur
Avanti! is a full-time educational programme for teenagers and young adults with a refugee or migrant background who aim to prepare for entry into upper secondary education.
Participants develop their skills in language, mathematics, general knowledge, media and IT. Career guidance, practical workshops and creative activities such as music, art and handcrafts also promote personal development. The programme specifically prepares participants for follow-on pathways such as a vocational preparation year, an integration pre-apprenticeship or other training routes. Participants with a language level of A2 or above can also benefit from individual coaching in the second semester.
Duration: 1 year / 2 semesters / Total duration: 40 weeks (1,120 lessons)
