Vocational orientation, workshop instruction, guided learning with self-study phases, and creative activities such as music, visual arts, or crafts are an integral part of the program and particularly important learning opportunities for the personal development of learners. Goals
The goal of the full-time educational program is to prepare young people and young adults for entry into the regular structures of upper secondary level II, such as the pre-vocational year or the integration pre-apprenticeship.
The competencies of learners are developed, expanded, and consolidated in the subject areas customary for integration according to Curriculum 21.

Before entry, an admission interview with a free placement test takes place.

The educational program is aimed at young people and young adults – provisionally admitted persons or refugees – of different origins, native languages, and genders who reside in the Canton of Zurich.

It is also open to persons who do not meet the criteria of the Integration Agenda Zurich.

The 17 to 25-year-olds are literate in the Latin alphabet upon entry into the program, have language competencies at level A1 according to CEFR, and bring the necessary prerequisites for transfer to the regular structures of upper secondary level II.

Cancellations as well as withdrawals must be made in writing by the case management offices. Cancellation is free of charge up to two weeks before the course start.
