Extensive German in Bern

In these courses, you will acquire the German language skills you need for everyday life and work. Depending on your level, the focus is on social integration, employability or preparation for vocational training. The courses cover levels A1 to B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and take place twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6.00–7.30 pm) .

The learning progression is compact and targeted: each module comprises 48 lessons and lasts 12 weeks (2 lessons per course day). There are usually four modules each for levels A1 and A2, and six modules for B1.

Before the course begins, you will be placed in the appropriate level using a free placement test.
