Intensive literacy course

Adults,
- who cannot read and write at all or only with difficulty,
- who learned to read and write in another script and do not know the Latin alphabet.

With regular course attendance (at least 80%), you will receive a course certificate.

Childcare (morning and afternoon courses):
Open during course times for children aged 18 months to 7 years. Cost: CHF 160.00 to 400.00 per child, depending on place of residence and income. CHF 800.00 to 1‘304.00 for institutions. Places are limited.

Online registration is available until September 25, 2026. In-person registration at the counter is open until October 2, 2026, and thereafter if places are still available. Please make an appointment for in-person registration and placement testing.

Withdrawal of registration is possible free of charge up to 7 days before the start of the course. After that, we charge an administrative fee of CHF 50.00. Cancellations must be made in writing.

In the event of withdrawal during the first 7 days, one quarter of the course fees must be paid in addition to the administrative fee. From the second week of the course, the full course fees must be paid. If the reasons for withdrawal lie with ECAP, participants will not incur any costs.
