Vocational training in Zurich

Would you like to develop your career? ECAP Zurich offers practical training and further education for adults who wish to gain professional qualifications or find a new career opportunity.

Our courses are tailored to the demands of the labour market and combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills. They are aimed in particular at people with a migrant background and help them gain access to recognised qualifications and new career opportunities.

This course provides a solid grounding in the electrical trade and is aimed at people of foreign origin who wish to obtain a vocational qualification as an installation and assembly electrician in accordance with Article 32 of the Vocational Training Act. You will prepare specifically for the vocational qualification and acquire the necessary technical and practical skills to enter or progress within the profession.

This part-time training programme is aimed at people who wish to work as professional interpreters and support people from migrant backgrounds in key areas of life. The course provides targeted preparation for the INTERPRET certificate examination – the basic qualification for intercultural interpreting recognised throughout Switzerland. Potential areas of work include the asylum system, the education sector, the justice system, and the social and healthcare sectors.
With this certificate, you will lay the foundations for a qualified and meaningful career in an intercultural context.
