Contents
The focus is on everyday topics such as housing, health, the school system, continuing education and upbringing, the labor market, social insurance, and cultural aspects.
Goals
Participants improve their communicative and sociocultural competencies in order to better meet the requirements of everyday life in Switzerland. They acquire the German language at the level of elementary language use and receive diverse information as support for integration in their future workplace and social environment.

We are happy to care for your young children up to kindergarten age in our daycare center at Albulastrasse 47 while you learn German.

Further Information

Adults who have not been living in Switzerland for long and have little or no knowledge of German.

A placement test before the course starts is required.

Participants are familiar with the Latin alphabet.

German as a Second Language Instructor

Up to 10 calendar days before the course starts. After that, entry is still possible if places are available.

Withdrawal of registration is possible free of charge up to 7 days before the course starts. After that, we charge an administrative fee of CHF 50. Cancellation must be submitted in writing.
In case of withdrawal during the first 7 days, one quarter of the course fees must be paid in addition to the administrative fee. From the second week of the course onward, the full course fees must be paid. If the reasons for withdrawal lie with ECAP, participants will incur no costs.
