Course information

Contents
The German instruction is thematically based on the learning needs of the participants. It focuses on everyday relevant topics and provides information about life in Switzerland.
Goals
The goal of this intensive course is to improve linguistic competence in everyday life and at work through level-appropriate and everyday-oriented development of the four skills: speaking, listening, writing, and reading. Vocabulary training and application-oriented grammar sequences embedded in communicative tasks complete the learning program.

Learning progression: There are a total of three modules per language level; one module is completed in a 13-week course. This means that to complete an entire A1 or A2 level, a participant needs 39 weeks.

After registration, you will be invited to the mandatory placement test.

German as a Second Language Instructor

Up to 10 calendar days before the start of the course. Joining after the course has started is possible until the third week of the course, subject to availability.

Withdrawal from registration is free of charge up to 7 days before the course begins.
After that, an administrative fee of CHF 80 will be charged.
In the event of withdrawal during the first two weeks, one quarter of the course costs must be paid in addition to the administrative fee of CHF 80.
From the third week of the course, the full course costs must be paid.

If the reasons for withdrawal lie with ECAP, participants will not incur any costs.
Cancellations must be made in writing.
