Contents
The thematic focus is based on the needs of the participants and on situations from private and professional everyday life in Switzerland. Vocabulary and expression skills in various conversation situations will be expanded. Possible content:
- Talking about yourself
- Exchanging opinions
- Discussing specific topics
- Talking about well-being and feelings
- Recounting experiences
- Asking questions when there are comprehension problems
Goals
- Gain more confidence and enjoyment when speaking German
- Reduce speaking inhibitions and improve fluency
- Expand your own repertoire of expressions for various everyday and professional situations
- Develop conversation strategies
Procedure
We conduct a placement test before the course begins.
Information and placement interviews as well as tests are free of charge.

Further Information

Foreign-language adults with German skills at GER levels A1, A2, or B1 who want to strengthen their oral communication for their everyday and professional life.

The lessons are methodologically varied (e.g., discussions, role plays, expression training, or presentations).

Oral German skills, which will be assessed in the placement test. Basic knowledge is required for level A1.

With regular attendance (at least 80% of the course) and payment of the course fee, you will receive a confirmation.

Withdrawal from registration is possible free of charge up to 7 days before the course begins. After that, we charge an administrative fee of CHF 50.00.
Cancellation must be submitted in writing.
In the event of withdrawal during the first 7 days, one quarter of the course costs must be paid in addition to the administrative fee. From the second week of the course onward, the full course costs must be paid. If the reasons for withdrawal lie with ECAP, no costs will be incurred by the participants.
