TELC – Zertifikat Deutsch C1 exam

People who would like to take the telc C1 exam.

German language skills at C1 level (speaking, writing, reading, listening).

If you pass the exam successfully, you will receive the certificate electronically by email. You will receive the certificate or the exam result approximately 4–6 weeks after the test.

ECAP and telc cannot provide any information about results by telephone.

If only one part of the exam is passed (written or oral), that part is valid for one year. During this time, the part that was not passed must be successfully completed for the exam to be considered complete.

To register, please print out the registration form and return it fully completed and signed. ECAP must receive the registration by the registration deadline. Registration is also possible in person at the ECAP secretariat until 2026-11-13.

We recommend that you familiarise yourself with the test format before the exam and, if applicable, take a model test.

Cancellation is free of charge up to the registration deadline. If you withdraw your registration at a later date or do not attend, the full exam fee must be paid. Exception: in the event of illness (with a valid medical certificate submitted within two days after the exam), an administrative fee of CHF 60.00 will be charged.
