Course information

Contents
Have you not yet tested your language skills in Switzerland’s national languages? Then the fide test is the right way for you. We offer the fide test in the national language German at CEFR levels A1 to B1. The fide test was initiated by the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) and is recognised throughout Switzerland. You can use it for dealings with authorities, for further training or when looking for a job.
Goals
You determine your language skills at CEFR levels A1, A2 or B1.
Procedure
The fide test consists of the parts "Speaking", "Listening comprehension" and "Reading and writing". It assesses oral and written language skills separately, i.e. you can take either the entire fide test or only the oral part or only the written part. The results in the written and oral areas may differ. You can repeat the fide test as a whole, or the oral part or the written part individually, as often as you like. The participation fee must be paid again each time.
Costs
Entire fide test CHF 250.00
Part "Speaking and listening comprehension" CHF 170.00
Part "Reading and writing" CHF 120.00
