General Education - 60 hours (language and communication, introduction to IT, society, basic accounting, economics, civics)
TAS Learning Techniques - 15 hours
Professional Knowledge - 327 hours (knowledge of materials and construction techniques, occupational health and safety, drawing, professional calculation)
Practical Applications - 30 hours (laboratory activities)
Goals
The course is intended to enable participants to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the federal examination according to Art. 33 of the Vocational Training Act and obtain the title of "Metal Construction Drafter".

The course is intended for adults who are already working in the metal construction sector, without specific qualifications.

Must be of legal age and live or work in Switzerland. To be admitted to the Art. 33 federal examinations, it is necessary to demonstrate 5 years of professional experience in Switzerland or abroad, including 3 years in the professional field of metal construction.

Theoretical lessons with individual and group exercises, individual study and exercises, and practical lessons.

By passing the federal examinations according to Art. 33 of the Vocational Training Act, the Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) for "Metal Construction Drafter" is obtained.

At least 300 hours of individual study during the course are recommended, for regular revision of the topics covered in class, for exercises and further study.
