Metal constructor (Federal VET Diploma) – Art. 33

The course is intended for adults who are already working in the metal construction sector, without specific qualifications.

Admission to the examinations to obtain a Federal VET Diploma (AFC) under Art. 33 of the Federal Act is granted to adults who can certify a minimum of 5 years of professional
activity (Art. 32 of the Ordinance on Vocational Education and Training) and the sector-specific experience (metal construction)
required by the training ordinance for the targeted profession (generally at least 3 of the 5 years mentioned).
In addition, applicants must have been professionally active in Switzerland for at least one year at the time of submitting the
application.

Theoretical lessons with individual and group exercises, individual study and exercises, and practical lessons.

By passing the federal examinations in accordance with Art. 33 of the Vocational Education and Training Act, you obtain the Federal VET Diploma (AFC) as a "Metal constructor".

At least 300 hours of individual study during the course are recommended, for regular revision of the topics covered in class, for exercises and further study.
