German: Getting Started

Adult migrants who
- have only been living in Switzerland for a short time,
- have no German or only a little German,
- are planning to enter working life,
- are familiar with the Latin alphabet.

With regular course attendance (at least 80%), you will receive a course certificate.

Online until 04.08.2027; in-person registration at the counter is possible until 11.08.2027, thereafter subject to availability. Please schedule an appointment for in-person registration and placement.

Withdrawal of registration is possible free of charge up to 7 calendar days before the start of the course. After the free cancellation period has expired and before the start of the educational programme, we charge an administrative fee of CHF 80. Cancellations must be made in writing.

In the event of withdrawal up to the seventh calendar day after the start of the educational programme, one quarter of the agreed course costs must be paid in addition to the administrative fee. In the event of later withdrawal from the course, the full course costs must be paid. If the reasons for withdrawal lie with ECAP, participants will incur no costs.
