Goals
With the fide-Test, you can prove your oral and written language skills at levels A1, A2, and B1 according to the CEFR.
Procedure
4 weeks after the exam, you will receive the Language Passport directly from the fide Bern office, which certifies your language proficiency, provided your correspondence address is correct. Over Christmas/New Year, you will receive the Language Passport approx. 6 weeks after the exam. The fide-Test is recognized by the federal government and cantons as proof of language proficiency. You can repeat or update the fide-Test as often as you wish if you have achieved a higher language level.
Do you already have a recognized certificate or language skills at B1 or higher and can you prove this? Then there is the possibility to acquire a Language Passport with the B1 entry (oral and written) via the B1 validation dossier.
