The courses follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR):
- Building and expanding vocabulary
- Conversation
- Pronunciation training
- Listening and reading comprehension
- Writing texts from simple to more complex
- Basics, development and consolidation of grammar
- Exam preparation, depending on level and programme
Goals
The aim of the extensive course is to improve your ability to use the language in everyday life and at work through level-appropriate, everyday-oriented development of the four skills: speaking, listening, writing and reading. Vocabulary training and application-oriented grammar sequences embedded in communicative tasks round off the learning programme.

Learning progression: 2–3 modules per language level
Procedure
When you register, you will be offered a free placement test so that you can choose the right course and benefit optimally.

Adults who want to acquire, expand and improve their Italian skills.

A certificate of attendance will be issued.
If you wish, you can take the CELI exam and have your Italian skills certified. Ask the secretariat about the dates of the CELI exams or check online under "Exams and certificates".

Up to 7 calendar days before the course starts. Joining after the course has started is possible if places are available.

Cancellation must be made in writing.
You may withdraw your registration free of charge up to 7 days before the course starts. After that, we charge an administrative fee of CHF 50.
In the event of withdrawal during the first 7 days, one quarter of the course costs must be paid in addition to the administrative fee. From the second week of the course, the full course costs must be paid. If the reasons for withdrawal lie with ECAP, participants will not incur any costs.
