Contents
The courses are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR):
- Vocabulary building and expansion
- Conversation
- Pronunciation training
- Listening and reading comprehension
- Writing texts from simple to more complex
- Development and consolidation of grammar
- Exam preparation
Goals
At the end of the course:
- You will be able to understand the main points of a conversation and a text
- You will be able to describe experiences, wishes, and projects
- You will be able to express yourself clearly and correctly in private or professional settings (for example: write an email or conduct a short work conversation)
- You will find it easier to speak with Italian-speaking friends, relatives, or acquaintances
- You will be ready for the CELI 2 exam

Language level B1 is divided into 3 modules (approx. 120 lessons).

A free placement test is offered upon registration so that you can choose the right course and benefit optimally.

Further Information

Adults who wish to improve their Italian language skills and who have already completed the A2 level or possess equivalent skills.

This course is also suitable for those who wish to prepare for the CELI 2/B1 exam (certificate required to obtain Italian citizenship).

A certificate of attendance will be issued.
Upon request, you can take the CELI exam and have your Italian language skills certified.
Inquire at the secretariat about CELI exam dates or check online under "Exams and Certificates".

Up to 7 calendar days before the start of the course. Enrollment after the course has started is possible if there are available spots.

Cancellations must be made in writing.
Withdrawal of registration is possible free of charge up to 7 days before the start of the course. After that, we charge an administrative fee of CHF 80.
In the event of withdrawal during the first 2 weeks, one quarter of the course costs must be paid in addition to the administrative fee. From the third week of the course, the full course costs must be paid. If the reasons for withdrawal lie with ECAP, participants will not incur any costs.
