Contents
Learning and practicing graphic and phonetic symbols, word images and letter groups, sentence structure and simple grammatical structures, coherent reading, listening comprehension, vocabulary training, conversation, pronunciation training, learning techniques, coping with everyday life, and basic competencies.

• Acquisition and consolidation of reading and writing skills
• Acquisition and consolidation of oral language skills
• Reduction of learning barriers and anxieties
• Initial access to adult education and preparation for regular, low-threshold German courses
• Improvement of social and professional integration
Procedure
After your registration, you will receive an invitation to the placement test.
Costs
Subsidized for participants residing in the Canton of Solothurn: CHF 324.- incl. teaching materials

Participants residing outside the Canton of Solothurn: CHF 1080.- incl. teaching materials

Further Information

Foreign language speakers of all nationalities who
- cannot read and write at all or only with great difficulty,
- have learned to read and write in another script and are unfamiliar with the Latin alphabet.

Withdrawal of registration is possible free of charge up to 7 days before the start of the course. After that, we charge an administrative fee of CHF 50.00. Cancellations must be made in writing.

In the event of withdrawal during the first 7 days, one quarter of the course costs must be paid in addition to the administrative fee. From the second week of the course, the full course costs must be paid. If the reasons for withdrawal lie with ECAP, participants will not incur any costs.
