Course information

Contents
German lessons are thematically based on the learning needs of the participants. They focus on everyday relevant topics and provide information about life in Switzerland and the region. Further content: building and expanding vocabulary / grammar fundamentals / listening and reading comprehension / writing short texts / dialogues and communication / creating an application portfolio / learning techniques for self-study and digital learning. The focus in all course levels is on oral language acquisition (understanding/speaking). As the language level increases, written expression and correct language application gain importance.
Goals
Development and promotion of German language skills in the four linguistic competencies: listening comprehension, reading, speaking, and writing, including integration-relevant topics and preparation for entering the world of work or education.

After 2 course modules, a CEFR level is completed, and a telc exam can be taken.

Once you have registered, you will be contacted by the ECAP Winterthur office to clarify open questions such as course times (morning or afternoon).

Individuals who want to learn German or improve their German language skills

The courses are organized with childcare for children up to kindergarten entry.

Participants must be willing to learn independently outside of the course to support their learning progress.

The learning of the German language is taught in a task-based and differentiated manner, taking into account the needs of the participants and their own resources. A textbook serves as the foundation. Participants are also prepared for the world of work.

Before registration, a free placement test is offered on-site so that the person can be assigned to the appropriate course.

All participants who attend regularly (80%) will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course.
