Contents
In our German courses, you will continue learning at your current level. The topics are important for everyday life in Switzerland and provide you with useful information for living here.
You will practice:

• Vocabulary: learning new words and expanding your vocabulary
• Grammar: important basic rules
• Listening and Reading: understanding texts and conversations
• Writing: composing short texts
• Speaking: dialogues, language games, and simple learning techniques
Goals
In this course, you will learn German. You will practice the four areas: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You will also gain important basic knowledge about topics that are essential for life in Switzerland. The course helps you prepare for entry into the working world, professional life, or vocational training.
Procedure
Before the course starts, we conduct a placement test.
This test is free of charge for you if you then attend a course with us. Otherwise, we will charge you CHF 50.00
Costs
Canton of Lucerne
→ CHF 595.00 per course

Canton of Nidwalden
→ Benefit from cantonal support:
The first 3 courses cost only CHF 595.– per course.
From the 4th course, the price is CHF 900.– per course.

Canton of Schwyz
→ CHF 900.– per course
Possible support of CHF 305.– can be applied for on request.

All other cantons
→ CHF 900.– per course

The required teaching materials will be charged separately
→ Preliminary level: CHF 30.–

Command of the Latin script.

With regular attendance (at least 80% of the course) and payment of the course fee, you will receive a course confirmation.

A certificate exam is offered and recommended at the end of each level:

TELC
→ A2 CHF 190.00
→ B1 CHF 270.00
→ B2 CHF 270.00

(CHF 40.00 reduction if you have attended a German course.)

fide
→ A1–B1 (CHF 250.00)

The final course times will be set about one week before the course starts. Unfortunately, it is not possible to take preferred times into account.

About one week before the course starts, you will receive the course invitation with the final course times as well as the course invoice.

The course cannot be guaranteed to take place. Changes to course times or cancellation of the course are reserved.

Withdrawal of registration is possible free of charge up to 7 days before the course begins. After that, we charge an administrative fee of CHF 50.–. The cancellation must be submitted in writing.
In the event of withdrawal during the first 4 course days, one quarter of the course fees must be paid in addition to the administrative fee. From the 5th course day onwards, the full course fees must be paid.
If the reasons for withdrawal lie with ECAP, participants will not incur any costs.
