Exams and certificates of ECAP Ticino Unia

With the fide test, the ICDL exams and the CELI certificates, you can officially demonstrate your language and digital skills at ECAP Ticino Unia.

A recognised certificate makes it easier to find a job and is often a prerequisite for a residence permit or naturalisation. For a residence permit, language skills at least at level A2 (fide test) are required. The requirements for naturalisation vary depending on the canton.

ECAP Ticino Unia is accredited to deliver the fide test and offers it in Italian, the national language, at levels A1 to B1 (CEFR). The fide test was initiated by the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) and is recognised throughout Switzerland.

The fide test allows you to demonstrate your oral and written proficiency in Italian. It is used, amongst other things, by public administrations, for further education and when looking for a job. After taking the test, you will receive the Swiss Language Passport, which certifies your language skills.

ECAP Ticino Unia offers young people the opportunity to take the CELI-Adolescenti exams. These internationally recognised certificates attest to proficiency in Italian in school and vocational training contexts and are aligned with the proficiency levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

This certification can be advantageous for academic careers, vocational training pathways and future career prospects.

ECAP Ticino Unia is an official ICDL test centre. With ICDL certificates (International Certification of Digital Literacy), you can demonstrate your digital skills with internationally recognised certification.

This certification confirms practical knowledge of digital technologies and is now an essential requirement in many professions as well as in everyday life.
