Intensive German A1 plus in Aargau

You haven’t been living in German-speaking Switzerland for very long, want to learn German intensively and learn about opportunities for finding a job.

You will learn to communicate easily in everyday situations, become familiar with key information and advice centres in Aargau, and create your application portfolio (only on the German A1 Intensive Plus course).

Your enrolment becomes binding following a free placement test. You will study in a group that suits you.

The course comprises 3 modules. You will learn German quickly and effectively, enabling you to find your way around Aargau and your local area more easily. In the third module, you will also put together your job application portfolio.

Duration and learning progression: 1 module consists of 6 weeks with 120 lessons, covering one-third of a CEFR level; therefore, 3 modules are usually required to reach A1. The modules take place from Monday to Friday from 08.30 to 11.50 or from 13.30 to 16.50.

The courses are held in Aarau and Baden. Childcare is available in Aarau in the mornings and afternoons, and in Baden in the mornings. The courses are subsidised by MIKA Aargau.

In the basic course, which consists of 3 modules, you will learn German at a steady, moderate pace, with plenty of opportunity to consolidate and deepen your knowledge.

Duration: 1 module lasting 6 weeks, comprising 90 lessons.
Progression: After completing the 3 modules of the basic course, you will usually continue your studies at level A1.2 in other German course formats. The modules take place from Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 11.30 or from 14.00 to 16.30.

The course is held in Aarau. Childcare is available in the mornings and afternoons. The courses are subsidised by MIKA Aargau.
