Giuliana Tedesco chosen as vice-president of the SVEB

On 10 November 2025, Giuliana Tedesco, Deputy Director of ECAP, was elected Vice-President of the SVEB, the national umbrella organisation for continuing education, as the representative for German-speaking Switzerland. She has been a member of the SVEB Executive Board since 2015 and brings 24 years of experience in adult education to the role.

This election further strengthens her long-standing, expert commitment to a forward-looking, inclusive and high-quality continuing education policy. Giuliana Tedesco is particularly dedicated to promoting equal opportunities, strengthening adults’ basic skills and ensuring the sustainable development of the continuing education sector in Switzerland.

In her new role as Vice-President of the SVEB, she will bring the practical perspectives of adult education – and in particular continuing education provision for people with a migrant background – even more strongly into national continuing education policy. In doing so, she will contribute to the further development of an education system that enables everyone in Switzerland to access learning and participate in society.
