Quality Charta of the ECAP Foundation

The ECAP Foundation bases the planning and implementation of its activities on the following conviction:
  • It is the right of adults receiving occupational training to have the quality of the program controlled and continually developed further.
  • The control and further development of quality include the entire organization and all persons who work in this organization.
  • The control and further development of quality are aimed at improving and refining the processes, which the organization continually pursues and which constitute a dynamic factor that at no point in time is final.

The ECAP regional centers draw up annual plans for the further development of quality by taking into account the foundation's Guiding principles and the following eleven working guidelines:

  1. When planning our activities, the main focus is on a concrete and explicit analysis of the educational requirements. The analysis comprises the needs and requirements of the target group and is repeated and reviewed periodically.
  2. The educational projects are based on analyses of participants' needs by taking into account each person's individuality as well as on the requirements of clients, funding parties and the involved Partners and are continually reviewed and adapted to the changing underlying conditions.
  3. The conditions for the carrying out of our activities are negotiated and discussed with all the involved parties.
  4. The information provided is transparent, complete and clear. We choose the means best suited to the addressees by taking into account their language and cultural backgrounds.
  5. We support persons unaccustomed to education in analyzing their expectations, understanding their potential, acknowledging their resources and abilities, in orientating themselves occupationally and as a result in being able to select the offers best suited to their aims.
  6. By continually evaluating the reached goals, the impact and the satisfaction of participants, we consequently work on improving the quality and the efficiency of educational measures. Accordingly, we use systematic procedures to evaluate the implemented educational measures and compare the achieved results with the projects' general goals.
  7. All employees in all functions are involved in the quality control process and its further development, with the goal of optimizing the internal organizational processes through their participation and their motivation.
  8. In order to ensure the transparency of our training centers' quality of activity, we work with external certification institutes and strictly observe the standards stipulated by the funding institutions.
  9. Only through the ongoing training and continuing education of employees in cultural, methodological and professional matters can the quality of adult education be controlled and developed further. This further training lies within the foundation's area of responsibility.
  10. The only means of ensuring quality development is through continual, consequently organized efforts in the fields of research, development and innovation. We endeavor to consolidate, discuss and exchange our experiences within and outside of our organization.
  11. Organizing adult education activities in an intercultural context requires a flexible organization that can swiftly react to changes, varying underlying conditions and requirements as well as to changes in the demand for training and in the working conditions.
